Aforementioned: aphorisms and questions for 2015

The images that follow are stupid, impossible dreams: the first, because in order to realize it we would make  demands on the biosphere that are many times beyond those that  are already bringing us to the edge of disaster; the second, because in order to achieve it would require the background of a perfectly ordered earth, in which case no one is very likely to want to green Mars. We urgently need to revise our dreams.
