5th of February -- Thursday -- The BIG "they" (weather people) have screamed "HUGE" storm coming and staying and lashing us through the weekend -- No whining, California needs rain, only not here in Marin -- it's sort of wasted on us except for greening up the beautiful hills. Some years we have so much rain it's like the green of Ireland, so beautiful you simply stare. Okay, so I'm hoping the rain holds off until say 3:00 o'clock this afternoon. Why? Well, got someone flying up from L.A. for lunch and I would sure hate to see them delayed/cancelled, which could happen at San Francisco airport -- it's sort of like when there's snow in a place (like Florida) where no one's used to it and everyone freaks out, schools/flights are canceled and people skid all over the road in their cars and slam into everything. Same here, rain, and the airport freaks and delays are phenomenal -- so please cross those digits for me.
