Disneyland Resort Crowd Calendar Report – January 11 to 17, 2015

Last week, Disneyland Parks were most crowded on Friday and Saturday, least crowded on Sunday and Thursday and moderate in between. Our predictions did well, missing by no more than one level at Disneyland Park each day. As expected, Saturday’s crowds were higher than usual thanks to the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend.

Very light crowds at Disney California Adventure on Sunday with average waits like 8 minutes at California Screamin’ (predicted 16) and 27 minutes at Toy Story Midway Mania (predicted 39).

Tuesday’s crowds were about the same as the previous day. Average waits were 17 minutes at Autopia (predicted 16) and 58 minutes at Radiator Springs Racers (predicted 64).

Our predictions were one level too high at both parks on Wednesday. Standout attractions were Alice in Wonderland (21 minutes, predicted 18) and Grizzly River Run (5 minutes, predicted 4).

Registration for the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend began on Thursday but wait times in the park stayed very low as they had all week.

Friday was the first day of the week when both parks hit crowd levels above a level ‘3’. Wait times were still very reasonable though like 14 minutes at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.

Saturday was a different day than the rest of the week. We saw average wait times like 43 at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (predicted 21) and 57 at Indiana Jones Adventure (predicted 39).
