Stories Of An Awkward Size
I'm very excited that Stories Of An Awkward Size is out. Got some reviews coming in already from those who got the preliminary copies!
I've always - well not always - been frustrated by mystery and hard-sf fiction. Most of it doesn't seem to go the places where I wanted it to go. Some of it does, but I needed more!
So... I decided to finally get some of my own material out there.
I'm a big fan of Slipstream - essentially the kind of mystery fiction that Roald Dahl's "Tales Of The Unexpected" (and others) kick-started, but with a modern or near-future twist. I think that what I write is hard-SF that "lives" in a Slipstream narrative space.
I'm keen to see what the rest of you think!
