A good day

After letting things languish for the better part of a week, I made tracks today: Nearly 2,300 words set down, putting the new project (tentative title: “Subdivisions”) at just a shade under 19,000 words.

It wouldn’t be fair to say that I’ve been lazy; indeed, I was plenty busy on other things that were demanding my attention all week. But, damn, it feels nice to get a good burst of momentum again. This might be an analogy lost on anyone younger than 35, but ….
