ENDINGS

Welcome and Happy New Year to all my followers and your families.

Since we’ve come to the end of another year, we’re mainly talking endings today. Specifically book endings and series endings. Here’s what a few writers have to say on the subject:

“It is always important to know when something has reached its end. Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn't matter what we call it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments in life that are over.”
Paulo Coehlo, The Alchemist The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

“The feeling is less like an ending than just another starting point.”
Chuck Palahniuk, Choke Choke by Chuck Palahniuk

“Every ending is a beginning. We just don't know it at the time.”
Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

Q: Do you have a favorite quote on endings? If so I’d love to hear it.

I’m doing a guest post today, Tuesday, December 30, at All Romance Café talking about ending my Lovers and Liars Lovers and Liars by Paul Alan Fahey gay historical romance series. Also offering two e book giveaways. Hope you’ll drop by and chat. Just leave a comment and you’re entered automatically in the giveaways. See you there.

message 1: by Sue Mcginty (new)

Sue Mcginty I believe in ending a series when the protagonist is in a good place. Wonder what PD James did with Adam Dagleish?

message 2: by Paul (new)

Paul Hi, Sue, I don't remember where she left off with her series, but I agree with you. Hope you'll take a look at my ARe post where I discuss it further. Happy New Year.

Hugs to you and Jerry, Paul
