Long lines, big crowds, buffet tables crowded with eight kinds of cheese dip.  Do you know where you don’t have to fight a crowd, wear pinchy shoes or make small talk?  Your bathtub.



Treat yourself to a baking soda bath.  Think of it as a mini retreat.  Add a cup of baking soda and some epsom salts to a comfortably warm tub. Add essential oils to make it even more soothing;  tea tree or eucalyptus for their healing properties, chamomile or lavender to help you relax.   Sip on a cup of tea, bring a book, plan to soak for 40 minutes in order to pull out the toxins and absorb the minerals.  Afterwards wrap up in your warmest robe and continue to flush out toxins by drinking plenty of water.
