It’s that time of the year where we celebrate our love for characters of color in romantic fiction in the Color of Love Blog Hop. As some of you may know, I don’t participate in many blog hops through out the year. As much as I love them, sometimes I just don’t have the time to participate. However, The Color of Love Blog Hop is very near and dear to my heart. The purpose of the hop is to draw attention to romance stories featuring characters of diverse races and cultures, something that I believe the romance genre and publishing as a whole should embrace. When I embarked on my writing journey, I was lucky enough, that many other authors had already paved the way for more diverse leading men and women in fiction.
