Monday, and yes, it's DECEMBER 1st -- Imagine. Don't you feel a slight shiver every year when the first rolls around? I mean, it's the Christmas month and such joy and fun and family and hopefully very little drama with said family but you never know, so don't be surprised. Because all of you have listened to me, your shopping is very nearly done, gifts wrapped, tree going up sometime this week with presents put beneath it and you're GOLDEN -- Everyone will worship at your feet, your critters will snuggle at your neck, your other half will admire you and shake his/her gifts under the tree and smile and smile and maybe even kiss your toes.
Sad, sad, dispiriting Sunday -- I was 1-3 -- the Chargers barely came through, but in the last minute, they manged to pull off the win over the Ravens. I had some very very slight hope for the Redskins with Colt McCoy, but playing the Colts, I saw how really dysfunctional the team is, the coach is, and given who Daniel Synder (sp?) is and what I've been told he's like, well, something violent is going to happen after the season. Any guesses? As for the Patriots, they didn't show up to play in the first half, and the Packers played awesome. As for the Cardinals, they sure miss Carson Palmer and Fitzgerald was out and blah, blah, blah. We will not mention the Giants in this household -- what do you think will happen in that organization during the off-season?
Today, it's Christmas decorating the living room -- such fun and we always play Charlie Brown's Christmas CD --

I'm Baaaack!

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
