"Have you heard from Emu?" I asked Ann.
"Emu did something with computers that makes farms more productive," Ann said. "He made a lot of money for his dad, and his program will help people in poor countries. He's happier than I've ever seen him. He even started a scholarship in Relapse Boy's name at CMU."
"Sounds like everything is going his way," I said. "I'm happy for him."
"Well, not everything. He dropped out of CMU, and now his mom won't speak to him. He laughs it off, but I can tell he's hurt that she's not happier for him."
Today I will accept not everyone will like the choices I make.
