Priorities

"By the way, Michaela met someone," Ann said. "I know you're going to say it's too early, but he's great with Jayson. You know how she always said her ex was so stupid, but would never admit it? The new guy is extremely bright, but pretends he's amazed by everything Jayson tells him."

"It's way early in her recovery," I said, "but I hope it works out for her. Please ask her to put her recovery first. If he's really one of the good guys, he'll understand."

Today I will put my priorities in order and hope for the best.
