Do you think string ties (like the kind Colonel Sanders wore) are too antiquated to be able to be pulled off in everyday dress? I've always wanted to wear one, but I'm afraid I'd look silly.

I don’t know if ‘antiquated’ has that much meaning in fashion, barring things that are tied directly to appropriation or something like that.

Wear what you like. :)

I do know that if you feel something looks nice, people pick up on that.
