A Wild Marilyn Manson appears || ‘Third Day of a Seven Day Binge’
With zero warning, Marilyn Manson posted this shiny new song yesterday. Big fuzzy bass under floyd-esque instrumentation and an acoustic guitar are not what you would expect from Marilyn (unless you’ve been paying attention to his recent efforts), but this slow burn of a song turns out to be far from a snooze. I’ve always loved Marilyn’s strange vocal production, and this chorus shows that element off hard. Third day turned up loud on big speakers comes on like a Mechanical Animals ballad and goes out licking your eardrums with vibrating textured subtlety.
