In my next life

I want to be a cat.

They wander from place to place and sleep.

In between eating and playing.

A day in the life of Moonshadow, who uses a pillow whenever one is available.

So, why the ode to Moonie today?

Because you guys must have done something with your thoughts and prayers. I took her in for bloodwork, fuly expecting it to be terrible news since she's in kidney failure and the numbers have been steadily climbing as her weight steadily decreases but I got the results back and she's not only gained some weight--she's back in the normal range! The vet was stunned and mystified, as am I. And grateful. Did I say grateful? Wherever this blessing came from, many thanks!

Anita Karen, this is incredible news! I am so happy for you and Neil and of course, Moonie! After you mentioned this at FeverCon, I have been "feverishly" praying for Moonie's health. I have a dog who is going on 11 years old and we know our time will shortly become limited. My families prayers will continue to go out to you and Moonie :)

Krissy Castillo I am so happy to hear about Moonie! I meant to ask you about her while we were at breakfast on Sunday but we all talked so much I didn't get a chance. I am thrilled that she is doing better and I hope she continues to improve!

Sharon That is wonderful news. Unfortunately I lost my 16 year old kitty, Murphy, the first of this year to kidney failure. Love them while you can!

Pam Yea! So happy to hear that Moonie is on the mend. We have a dog that is almost 11 and I tell her she is just a baby and she will live a LONG time! :-)

Suzanne Miles-Green That is wonderful news! I'm so glad she is better. I have three dogs and one cat all age 10 or over, so I know how it is to worry about them so much.
