The Cool (and Cold) of Reviews
Hey all,
I just want to thank everyone for taking the time to review EVERY UGLY WORD. Reviews are a tough part of being an author, but I love them. Even the negative reviews (which are far fewer than I expected, so THANKS).
Did you know that other than word-of-mouth, reviews on Amazon and Goodreads are the single biggest factor in a reader's decision to buy a book? As an author, I say A THOUSAND THANKS to any reader who takes part of their personal time and energy to write a review. On any book. For any reason.
The reality is, no book will every please everyone. But readers need to hear from other readers. And without YOU putting your thoughts on record about my book (and others), I know I wouldn't be selling today.
So thank you. Please keep going! And let me know what books you're reading right now because I'm in need of some new material.
