[image error]Unveil New Video for “Month of Sundays”North American Tour Begins THIS WEEK[image error]Today, we are delighted to announce Metronomy’s brand new video for their single “Month of Sundays.” PRESS HERE to watch the video. The single is from the band’s fourth studio album,
LOVE LETTERS
, available now via Elektra Records.
The video, shot by Callum Cooper and produced by Julia Reed and John Hassay, drew inspiration from the Spomeniks - second world war memorials likened to alien art which can be found scattered across the former Yugoslavia and on Angus McBean's iconic pictures of the Beatles that featured on the red and blue album covers. It’s a roller coaster ride, using intricate camera tricks which make you wonder how it was made.
A live favorite from the album, “Month of Sundays’” rich, chiming guitars and Mount’s distinct vocals tell a story of where everything went wrong (in a relationship): “Someone once suggested that a song had been written about me by a disgruntled ex-girlfriend. I'm not sure if it's true. But, if it is, this is my response to her and it.”
