Restraint

Restraint
"What virtue do we want to discuss today?" I asked the group. Nobody said anything for a minute or so.

"Restraint," Julie said. "Restraint is a virtue. It's a virtue people don't understand."

"How so?" I asked.

"People think restraint means doing nothing. I think it means doing something, just not something crazy. Michaela didn't stab or shoot her ex.

That would be crazy. But, I'll bet she said something to him. That's restraint."

"I did say something to him," Michaela said. "I didn't say everything I wanted to, but I did tell him why I was upset with him."

"What did you wish to tell him?" James asked.

Michaela said, "That he's a *@&^%, and his *^(*& girlfriend should #@&*$% with a #$%*&^!!!"

"Oh, my!" James replied.

Today I will use restraint.
