AMA Ask Me Anything Noon, EST

Focus on this . . .

Focus on this . . .

If you missed yesterday’s Q&A at Goodreads yesterday,  (archived here) I’ll be doing an AMA, Ask Me Anything over at Reddit today, noon to about one. (EST) It gets a bit harry, but this time, I’ll be sharing the spotlight with Richard Kadery, (The Getaway God) Do get your questions in to me early, because I can only answer one question every 40-50 seconds, and that means the people asking right at the end don’t get answered. Oh, and check and see if someone already asked your question before you post. :-) Ple-e-e-e-ese. It really slows things down if I have to answer “Why tomatoes” six times. :-)

Richard and I will take craft questions directed at one or both of us as well as questions about our individual series. The link to the AMA isn’t generated until we go live at noon, but I’ve got a link below to their front door, and something should pop up right around noon. Alternatively, if you’re on FB, I will drop a link there when we go live. Reddit’s front door. Check it out. Bookmark it. See you at noon!

Oh! And I know I said the last chance to get your Nicola’s order for signed/personalized first-edition The Witch With No Name was yesterday, but if you get it in before noon, (EST) it will likely make it into the signing stack before I go. I’ll still sign the stragglers when I get back, but it will delay your shipment. B&N, however, has signed, first-edition books as well if that is your preferred outlet. :-)

. . . not this.

. . . not this.

As for me, I’m trying to get everything done as we count down the last few days before tour starts. It’s coming at an odd time, and I’m making the hard choice of trashing some of my hanging baskets rather than leaving them for Thing One and Thing Two to maintain. There’s enough to maintain already.

So I’m not only fighting the last-book-blues, but I’m also saying good-bye to summer as I begin the two-month long process of putting the yard and garden to bed. Oh, there’s still a lot of life in the garden (I’ve got phlox, yes phlox! trying to bloom again) but it feels as if everything is starting to button up. One joy this week amid the chaos was a brand new tree. It looks good, and I’m looking forward to watching it slowly grow in that new spot of sun that my lost tree left me.
