Are you on first name term with your children?

My children call me by my first name, and I don't address them, daughter or son either, it's not bad parenting, it makes us equals, it connects us. A parent is not an almighty being, we're on the same team and together is always better than parents against children. Using first name is a powerful start to equalise this traditionally unequal relationship constellation.
