Squeaker vs. The Circus Ponies

Over the course of our travels recently, we spent some time at the Farrell family cabin in rural Missouri. Just down the road is a little field, and in that little field, there are little ponies. The first time we drove past the little ponies, SuperHubby said, “I think those are circus ponies.”

Squeaker glanced over, assessed the situation, and said, “No, Daddy.”

“Yes, they are,” SuperHubby said. “I think it’s a retirement field for the circus ponies.”

“No, Daddy,” Squeaker insisted again. “Those are cows.”

It’s possible we need to get that boy a book about animals…
