A Year of Happy Mondays – Pool Noodle Edition

Y’all, do I have some stories for you this week… And we’re starting with some good old-fashioned goofball fun.

We recently spent a week with SuperHubby’s sister and her family on their little farm in Kansas. In addition to goats, chickens, and horses, they have a pool.

They also have pool noodles. And because I love you, I gathered a top ten list of the best things said about pool noodles during our week on the farm. Enjoy!

THE TOP TEN STATEMENTS ABOUT POOL NOODLES THAT MADE ME LAUGH (SOMETIMES INAPPROPRIATELY)

10. “My noodle is not melting.” (Said by Squeaker, and he meant his noodle wasn’t sinking, which I also found funny.)

9. “Munchkin, don’t blow your noodle on me.” (Said by me after Munchkin blew into the hole in his noodle to force the water out one too many times.)

8. “Get your noodle out of my face.”

7. “Will you hold my noodle?” (This one made me snort. Because I’m that kind of immature.)

6. “Don’t whack your brother with your noodle.” (Related: “Don’t whack your brother’s noodle.”) (Also? Yep. Snorting again.)

5. “I’m riding my noodle like a horse.” (Related: “I’m riding my noodle like a cow.”)

4. “Don’t call your brother’s noodle dumb.”

3. “Buttercup stole my noodle!”

2. “A goat blew on my noodle.” (Side note: It didn’t, but Munchkin gets total imagination points. Well done, Munchkin!)

1. “Honey, don’t chew on your noodle.” (And once again, my immature side is showing.)
