Radio interview, Pauline Rowson talks to Julian Clegg, BBC Radio Solent
On 15 July I was on the Julian Clegg Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Solent. Those of you who aren't early risers can catch it again on BBC i player My interview is at the beginning of the show which starts at 6.30 a.m.
I thoroughly enjoyed talking to the lovely Julian Clegg as always and seeing the studio gang. Thanks to all of them and especially to Sam Fraser, producer and presenter on the early morning show from 5 a.m to 6.30a.m, who then assists on the Julian Clegg show until 10 am. I don't know how she does those early morning starts and on air and so cheerful, just as Julian always is.
As one of 'Julian's People' (those whose lives his programme follows), I get to chat to him and his thousands of listeners every three months.
I talked about the DI Andy Horton crime series which is set in the Solent area, of Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight and the latest DI Andy Horton novel, Shroud of Evil which has received some great reviews from the American press and readers alike. It is published in hardcover and will be released as an e book on 1 August 2014.
"A compelling protagonist and mounting suspense make the book hard to put down.." Publishers Weekly
"A great read for mystery lovers with plenty to keep you guessing until the last moment." Crime Book Club
"A swirling cyclone of action leading to a shocking conclusion that will leave readers eager for the next installment in this always-surprising series." Booklist
Shroud of Evil is currently available in hardback and will be released as an ebook on 1 August 2014.
