Kat Morrisey Rarely do heroes/heroines have medical ailments either. As someone who is on blood thinners and will be forever for an unknown clotting disorder, I'd LOVE to see characters handling things like this, or any other chronic illness that might make them not fit the standard of "beauty" and perfection that is out there. People are different and have different issues they're dealing with--seeing/understanding more of that in books AND in life can only be a good thing, imo.

One good thing that has happened with this post I wrote and the posts I read last week--> I have a TON Of new ideas for my heroes and heroines and things for them to deal with. I can't wait to get to them all! :D

Jennifer Gallagher Kat
great to know you have new ideas .. I have an auto immune disease very rare and no cure.. steroids are slowly killing me.. but without them I am dead.. you learn to live with this condition in your life.. as will you with yours
