Tuesday, 24th June -- So here's what happened. The alarm went off at 5:00 a.m., it's like BLACK, no hint of a coming dawn. Still, of course, the sound wakes up the cats and they are bouncing up and down on the bed and I hear this voice, "Catherine" -- it's my friend who's staying with me, and she's all dressed, tells me she's going running. And she's gone. If I'd had my brain plugged in yet, I might have shot her. It was STILL DARK -- the cats started to run after her, then stopped cold in their tracks, looked back at me and stayed -- do they know Motherfood or what?

THE LOST KEY gallies are all done and off today. It's a good book, I'll think you're really going to like it. BOMBSHELL paperback is OUT TODAY. So if you haven't read it yet, get yourself out to buy it -- gorgeous cover, (like the hardcover, the flaming red) but do you know what? I think it's more striking as a paperback.
