Love triangles seldom have happy endings, at least for one of the people involved. In Author Kelly Hashway’s novella, CURSE OF DEATH: THE LEGEND OF MEDUSA, we see the results of one triangle. The story of Medusa and Poseidon is a bit different than your ordinary story. Poseidon is the god of the sea. Even though Medusa was born to sea Titans, she’s human. So you can see a problem in their relationship right away. How can she live underwater with the sea god, when she needs air to breathe? Plus, a relationship between a god and a mortal is forbidden.

This brings us to the third party in the love triangle, the goddess Athena. Will the two lovers find happiness? Or will Athena win the handsome god for herself? We won’t mention the fact that Poseidon already has a wife. Would that be called a love quartet?

I admit I’ve heard of Medusa. Who hasn’t? But I never read anything about her until I read CURSE OF DEATH. And now, I see how one love triangle turned out. That’s all I’m saying, except that I enjoyed the book and know a lot more about gods and goddesses than I did. This is a good short story for lovers of mythology and romance. So get a copy for your e-Reader and enjoy.
