The Cake (Candy House?) is a Lie

There's a new short, Sugar Coated Dreams, up on my website. Once upon a time (because all good fairy tales start that way) there was a girl and her brother. Their father abandoned the hungry children in the woods. They thought all was lost until they stumbled on a house made of candy.

And Gretel will never feel the same way about candy again.

I'm a big fan of the Grimm tales. The dark, more authentic versions, not the Disney versions (though I'll admit to loving my classic Disney tales, it's just not the same thing, is all). What's your favorite fairy tale?
