A little info on Laren and Michael in Reputable Surrender
She’s a natural born leader who’s arrogant and proud on occasion. She’s also intelligent, witty, strong and creative. How does she manage to pull off these glowing attributes? With gobs and gobs of feminine charm. She will care for the children and help the less fortunate. To men the lioness is irresistible. She’s passionate, playful and very, how shall I say, energetic when it comes to sex. She doesn’t want a man to dominate her necessarily, but she doesn’t respect weakness either. She’d rather have a fellow hunter as mate than a man who’d let her trounce all over him. As a partner she will admire, appreciate and care for her guy, but he better not expect her to worship him.
*Pulls down glasses and stares right at you*
Oh dear. Knowing Michael the way I do, that last tidbit about Laren could present a problem…
He’s always the first to plow his way through new ground. Charismatic with oodles of leadership skills, the Aries man is the first to explore the unknown. He’s a dynamo of energy and magnetism, the Pied Piper to those around him. He’s adventurous and approaches love like a battle, and like most of the battles he selects to fight, he’ll usually wins. Who doesn’t secretly love a bad boy? The Aries man is very good at being very bad, which makes him rather popular with the ladies. A sensual, hungry lover, he is demanding, with a high libido. In plain speak it’s an adventure to be with an Arian. Erotic and impudent, the Ram will take his partner to new sexual heights. Yeah, but there’s another side to that pleasurable coin, people. The guy also tells it like it is, without regard to the consequences. A trait that could have a sexy woman he’s getting to know thinking he’s somewhat aggressive and maybe even a little bossy.

Could her name be Laren? 
I LOVE these guys! Here’s a little snippet leading up to one of Michael’s “tell it like it is” conversations.
“Don’t move. I’ll fly out.” She grabbed hold of the bar with both hands, squeezing until her bones hurt. “It’s not too late.”
“We’re already ten feet off the ground. Don’t worry, kitten, I’m not going to let anything happen to you.”
“Ten feet?” There was no way she could look down to see for herself so she’d have to believe him. “Oh, please for the love of God, stop moving.”
“Let’s talk about safety.”
“Safety?” It was too late for that. They were already in the air. Didn’t he know she was wearing new jeans? Tight ones? Just for him and now they were going to be the contributing factor to her death. “I’m slipping.” Squeezing her eyes shut, she whispered, “I’m going to die.”
“You’re not going to die. I’m right here. I’m holding you tight. See?”
She did feel his arm around her and his other hand on her thigh. The sensation of being captured let her breathe a little easier. He wasn’t going to slide under the metal bar, he was too big. Strong. Yeah, he was strong enough to hold her.
Slowly, she opened her eyes and turned to look at him. “Don’t let go.”
“Never,” he whispered and she believed him. The combined warmth of his eyes and commanding expression made her heart race with something other than fear.
“I can do this.”
“I never doubted it.” He kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes again until he said, “I’m going to talk for the next few minutes and all I want you to do is listen, okay?”

Wow, I wonder what he’s going to say to her? I don’t know about you, but I’d listen to a guy that looks like that. 
Reputable Surrender will be released this month. I’m shooting for the 20th. *fingers crossed*
