Pedro Pascal, you have to hand it to him, did a great job playing the Red Viper. I hate it when he died in the books and on the tv show as well, but this sets the stage for his daughter (especially the three eldest who are amazing in their own right) and other family members, especially the two eldest Martell heirs and their father (Oberyn's brother) Prince Doran.

I also enjoyed watching Jaime's expression as in 'whoa he is really gonna kill that hulk' and the strange glances he was giving Varys....Then the concern on Tywins face as Oberyn yelled 'who gave you the order!'... And yeah. Kudos to Pedro Pascal, he did a brilliant job.

I also enjoyed watching Jaime's express..."
I noticed that expression between Jaime and Varys' too, it is going to lead the biggest shocks and revelations (if they do it like they did in the book where Jaime reveals something painful to Tyrion which makes him angry (and rightly so!) at Jaime and more so at his father) in episode 10 and I say 10 because it looks like episode 9 is going to be focused primarily at the battle for the wall.

I know! It is going to be one long year, especially when we have all the Dornish greatness coming next season (sand snakes and I hope they keep Arianne (who I love) too).
Well, walking dead for me while I wait for next season, I think season 5 is going to be airing this year in the fall and then SVU, which is another series I like. If you like the saga of Ice and Fire, the original Trilogy of Shannara is another I recommend. It's good and heard they will adapt the second book, Elfstones of Shannara for a series -I hope they do.

Thanks Athena. I will look up the Shannara books. As for TV I am waiting on the release of House of Cards the U.S version-I always find politics interesting.
I'm also looking forward to when Maleficent is released on BluRay...I am not a great fan of Angelina Jolie..but this movie looks good and I always find baddies, interesting.

I also watched the reactions on youtube and I do feel for those who have not read the books; it must come as such a shock when a favourite dies.
Arya is one of my favourites and I suppose I do hope that one day she and Jon will meet again. I think they were really close...I know I am on dangerous ground in having favourites, but one cannot help it.
Sorry for the wait....My dog had an op on her leg, she tore a ligament. The op went well, but she needs to sit quiet and be in a warm place...So I haven't been online much this week.....Now I am counting down the hours till the next episode....& biting my nails.
