To prepare for my June 28 Lecture at the Ayala Museum I revisited the original Rizal manuscripts now preserved in the National Library. To give you a sense of scale I placed my gloved hand (not copying Michael Jackson!) beside the Ultimo Adios that was small enough to be hidden in an alcohol lamp given to Rizal's family after his execution.
