Null & Devoid Short Story Available

The Colors of the Mind
My upcoming NULL series, which begins with The Null & Devoid, features psychics, empaths, and rampant corporate espionage. Max and Taylor are caught in the middle of it all, and frequently getting paid to help with the spying.

Before I started the story, though, I pictured these two characters as children. I had to ask myself what brought them together. How does such a unique pair (he's an empath, and she's a null--someone who can't be 'read' by psychics or empaths), come together?
