April 21 and 22, 2014

Monday, the 21st of April -- Did all the kids scarf down the chocolate yesterday or are there leftovers? Did the critters get in on the act, running around and barking and having so much fun you were laughing so hard your eyes were streaming?
A wonderful day, always --

Several of you mentioned Bull Durham as Kevin Costner not being a-sexual -- but all I remember about that movie is him painting her toe nails -- was there more? I remember the young ball player was making out wildly with her, but I can't remember his name -- help.
Thank you, Eileen, for telling us that for Draft Day they originally wanted the Buffalo Bills rather than Cleveland, but ended up with the Browns because production costs were much less in Ohio. If any of you have any questions, do ask, because Eileen Hutton knows ALL --
Today it's back to work with a big smile, a jaunty step -- if you don't have these two commodities, I am now ordering you to give serious consideration to changing. You have only one life, you never know when the big Mac truck is going to roar around the corner, so you need to enjoy what you're doing with eight hours of your life a day, okay? Do you feel stuck? If so, why? Think about this, people --

Tuesday, April 22nd: Well, I'm off to New York City and Long Island this morning -- well, not me personally, as in flying myself there physically, nope, Sherlock is off to NYC -- I believe this is the first time S&S are doing different assignments (that is, different cases) Digits crossed this all works. I'll let you know --

Tim Robbins -- I remember now. Pity, but I don't remember the table scene with Costner -- One movie I really remember is Dancing with Wolves (saw it in Portugal without sub-titles, what joy) and he married this woman in an Indian tribe and the physicalness between them was tepid at best -- Now fact: Do you know when the taxi driver was driving into Lisbon, he kept talking about the huge tsunami, how it destroyed the city, killed so many people -- turns out this tsunami was in 1757 (or thereabouts) -- talk about time to move smartly forward --
