At Least They Didn't Egg My House

Or my car. Haha. Happy Easter. (Yes, friends, the title of this posting is a joke. Nothing bad has happened.)

This year, I'm determined to get less creeped-out when people buy books from Smashed-Rat-on-Press... Because it happened again. Somebody, or perhaps several people in collusion, unexpectedly bought four SROP books early Easter morning, and I had no warning or inkling that would happen. The numbers just showed up in a report out of the blue. Now I feel rather proud of myself for not succumbing to the paranoid impulse to immediately pull everything off the market again, then scurry back beneath the comfy boulder where I can re-check all the manuscripts for typos...

With this windfall oddity, SROP's has sold 1.25 books per month this year. If the trajectory continues, 2014 sales might surpass 2013. But now that I've jinxed that possibility by mentioning it, I may be safe from freak sales for one more year.

The main purpose of this blog is to announce occasional additions and changes to the SROP catalog or the site. And it doubles as a soap-box from which to gesticulate and babble...
