Exiles, Encouragement for Exiles and Expats Around The World

You have endured many battles in your life and overcome much adversity, which of course can make anyone battle weary and overwhelmed physically and emotionally.

Not having a home country anymore (although where you presently are living may be somewhat of a home) can sometimes make one feel like they are in exile and in perpetual limbo (If they were to solely find their identity in their nationality, which obviously you do not). Having traveled to 70 countries and lived overseas extensively I know what that feels like. I often call my country the United States of arrogance since we often blunder and so many other people around the world ignorantly exalt us. Thus I too don't derive my identity from my nationality or present geography, but have my heart in heaven and on earth love everybody.

As for you, though you may not have a nation who presently embraces you as a citizen; be encouraged and know God in heaven embraces you and says you have a home in heaven and can be received into His loving arms freely (read Ephesians 1:10; 3:15).

God the loving heavenly Father in heaven welcomes and reconciles them that are far off through His Son Jesus Christ who died for the sins of all mankind and nations, to reconcile us first to our Creator and than to one another in peaceful relations. Once we surrender our spirit to the crucified and risen Christ...and welcome the Holy Spirit that resurrected Christ from the dead to live big in us - God will deposit His Holy Spirit rich with love, power and wisdom within you to enable you to taste heaven within daily and empower you to live victoriously on earth as His daughter and ambassador (read Ephesians 2:16-19)

God is reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And God has committed to His children the message of reconciliation. Those who embrace His Word, will and ways are Christ’s ambassadors in the earth, as though God were making His appeal through us imploring humanity to be reconciled to God. God made Jesus Christ who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2Corinthians 5:19-21)

"For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples." (Deuteronomy 7:6-7)
