2 YUMMY AND 1 FUN WAY TO USE TORTILLAS

KIDS: Explore the yummy taste of tortillas, and even create artwork!

Take half of the tortilla and spread peanut butter on it, then spread the other half with jelly. You can then fold it in half and enjoy.


Make mini cinnamon rolls. Take a little bit of butter/margarine and spread it onto the tortilla. Place in the microwave for 15 seconds. Then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top of it. Carefully roll it up really tight. You can now eat it as is, or you can have your parent cut it up for you, making mini cinnamon roll tortillas.


You might have tortillas that have expired, and are not very tasty. Use them to make artwork. Get out some cookie cutters and paint. You can paint the tortillas, and then cut them with the cookie cutter, or use the cookie cutter first, and then paint. You can then take the tortilla and stamp it onto the paper to make a print. Carefully, they are a little tricky to pick up. You can try tongs to lift the tortilla up if needed.
