Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* I dont know how you do it Christy! as a author to get your book done..and read..does it ever distract you from getting your book done? do you get inspiration from reading the "subject" of yours in others books?
will your second book be a sequel? I was going to start yours when you posted another to be out..I like to read in order...let us know what you think of this book .I have it too...but have so many group reads right now..enjoy it!

Christy English I adore The Secret Eleanor. I used to be worried that my own work would somehow be influenced by reading about Eleanor, but I am so deeply enmeshed in my view of her now that I no longer fear that. I am free to enjoy other people's vision of her. Though that vision is always different, the beauty of Eleanor shines through. I think everyone should write about her...but then, I am a BIT obsessed.

I highly recommend The Secret Eleanor. Cecelia Holland did a great job.

My second book, To Be Queen, is a pre-quel of sorts to The Queen's Pawn, about Eleanor's rise to power as duchess of Aquitaine on her father's death and her marriage to King Louis VII of France.

Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* Thanks Christy for letting me know..Im eagerly waiting for the book!
