Set in the city by the Bay, where many have left their hearts, sometimes in mangled heaps, Eli,Ely Is a dynamic tale of a crumbling relationship and it's ultimate demise. A fantastic balance of laughter and tears, it is written with the essence of the the great Beat writers and with the directness of Hemingway. It is an emotional and torrid journey and try as you like you can't help but love Eli, even at his worst. Ezekiel Tyrus has crafted more than just words into a story, he has woven his heart into a book. My recommendation is to fill up a deep tub with hot bubbly water, set some jazz on the hi-fi and drink in Mr. Tyrus's words like a fine bottle of wine. I only have one request...more.
