How I Ended Up Writing Another Zombie Novel

Late last year, a reader named Hope asked me if I’d help propose to her partner, Meagan. I told her I’d be delighted to do so. And so I did.

I’m happy to report that Hope gave us an update yesterday.

And that is why you guys will get a new zombie novel, even after I swore I was done with zombies. It’s called DEAD AIR, it’s been bouncing around in my head for a decade, and I’ll write it next year once all of this is finished. And it will be dedicated to Hope and Meagan. And congratulations to them both.

And now back to work…
