Updated When the Music Stops now available on Smashwords
When I wrote WTMS I didn't have much experience as a writer and I didn't have much feedback. Since then (since self-publishing it, that is!) I've had a lot of helpful and considered feedback that is absolutely invaluable to me.
A few people have expressed that they'd like WTMS to be available somewhere other than Lulu, and others have expressed a strong dislike for the epilogue.
Considering I don't have any overwhelming feelings either way for the epilogue (it was there for my own benefit more than anything!) I've now made WTMS available on Smashwords, minus the original epilogue.
I'd just like to thank everyone again for their really helpful feedback on my debut novella, and I hope that anyone kind enough to purchase it from Smashwords in the future will enjoy it even more without the epilogue (which really did explain too much, but what can I say - I'm a sucker for that kind of ending!)

I'll also change the versions currently available on Lulu - but I'll keep the print version epilogue intact for posterity ;)

Oh dear, I may or may not feel bad about cracking a certain lobotomy joke about that epilogue. I'm really so impressed with your story though. I hope we can expect more in the near future!^^

I hope we can expect more in the near future!^^"Haha, absolutely don't feel bad - I appreciate the honesty, and it gave me the final push to actually get the thing up on Smashwords, with the opportunity to edit out an element that an awful lot of readers didn't like. I sincerely appreciate you reading and reviewing my work! And yes, hopefully I'll get writing again soon - it's been far too long.
I just finished the book and loved it! My book ended on the train with the doctor asking himself what he was getting himself into. I loved that ending. I was scared to read further and see something bad happen. So I won't be looking for an epilogue. Thank you for a beautiful story!
