Monkeys (Oops forgot to post this one)

This week's trivia question and Twitter contest was won by Kellye Storm and Christine Pogon. They won Radish Club T-shirts. The trivia question was, "Which monkey did Kelsey pick that opened up the pool in Kishkindha?" The answer was baboon. The stone monkeys coming alive and chasing Ren and Kelsey is one of my favorite visual scenes in Tiger's Curse. It's frightning but also lends itself well to humor. I can totally picture Ren bouncing through Kishkindha covered in monkeys.

I returned from the Shakespeare Festival relaxed and happy to sleep in my own bed. We were able to chat with the Seago brothers who are Deaf actors. Howie Seago was on a Star Trek the Next Generation episode so I got to ask him about working with the other actors on the show. His sign name for Captain Picard is an initialized "P" merged with the sign for bald and we both agreed that Brent Spiner (Data) though a fantastic actor is not a natural signer. My favorite play was Twelfth Night but my favorite performance was from Dan Donohue who played Hamlet. I saw him as Iago a year or two ago and he's fabulous.
