At the beginning of The Summoning - titled: Twelve Years Earlier - Chloe realized it was Mrs Hobbs who'd led her down into the basement, but then it cuts off because it is a dream, but what happened afterwards?

It’s a memory/dream. Nothing horrible happened, beyond the fact Chloe was terrorized by the ghost (again!) and it led to her parents moving. She survived. Only psychologically scarred for life :)
