BURNED!!! Your first Dani teaser!
A man steps out.
Strong. Brilliant. Controlled.
Predator.
Unbreakable.
He's everything I admire plus things I can't even put into words.
I crush on Jericho Barrons violently.
My brain almost shuts down every time I see him and that's a lot of gray matter to stupefy.
Used to be, if I couldn't fall asleep I'd fantasize all kinds of ways I'd impress Barrons by killing monsters or saying something really smart or saving the world, and he'd see me as a grown up woman and I'd glow just from the look on his face.
But then Ryodan began popping into my fantasies like he had some kind of business being there, and he'd look all, well...like...Ryodan and he'd laugh and do that husky groan thing he did on level four, so I terminated that happy little exercise in somnolence.
Now I count sheep.
Lately even those buggers look like Ryodan with clear, cold eyes and some weird kind of hypnotic hold on me.
Fecker.
I'm beginning to think I'm going to have to figure out a way to kill him, permanent-like just to get him out of my head.

Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like a new Karen Marie Moning book. July 22, 2014 will be one of the best birthdays ever! Brings me back to 2007 when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released on the 21st and I spent my whole birthday finishing it. Can't wait! Loved this snippit of Dani.
DANI!!!! Yay! I love Dani, and now we'll get to read more?! Best present ever. And Burned is being released in the hottest month of the year? Lol.
Looking forward to reading more on Dani's adventures/quest.

I'm so excited to see the teaser. I saw the Dani and Ry thing coming, but is anyone else concerned that she's 15 and he's like a trillion years old?!! I feel an aging journey into the Silvers for Dani coming soon.
I have been dying for this one to come out since I finished Iced more than a year ago!

Seriously? January 2015? Why don't you just get a gun and shoot me instead? No, really, why don't you? Next Jan. is a million years away, I don't know how I made it until this Jan and instead of an early release as a late Christmas present, you just push the release date as far as it can go... If this book doesn't stand up to your promises, I am going to come over and kick you in the unmentionables. HARD. Oh, and by the way, the teaser was awesome...

Well, heck. Disappointed, but it will still be worth it. Her note on the website said she had to take some time off to recharge. Now that I think about it, she did go off for awhile after Moonshadow died. She had him for as long as I can remember. A death, even a pet, can take the starch right out of a person.

I certainly understand how hard loosing a dearly loved pet that is loved like a member of the family can hit you. My 14 yr diabetic cat Pumpkin, died Jan 8th, only 5 days before the one year anniversary of my Mom's death. That was a double whammy, so this January has left me dragging. If I were writing a book, that would be the last thing I could do, so taking time off to recharge was the best course.

Sorry, I got the July date off the Amazon page, but it turned out to be next January. Sigh... Guess it's real this time though because they're talking about a party like they did with the last one.
