If you were thinking of buying one of my books between now and the end of the year please don’t….

On 17th December a good friend and colleague of mine died of cancer. Louise had no idea that she was ill. A little over a week before her death she was at our office Christmas party happily drinking her favourite tipple (rum) and chatting with her colleagues about her plans for the festive season. She was taken into hospital suddenly on Sunday 15th December and died two days later. Lou was 40 years old, the same age as me, she loved books and we were both members of an office book club. Her death has shocked and deeply saddened everyone who knew her.

There is nothing I can do to help Louise now, but I can help others. I’m going to be donating all my royalties for the first week of January to the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.

So, if you’ve been thinking about buying one of my books, or you have a friend who you think might like one, please don’t buy it yet, wait for the 1st January.
