TV Program on Feminist Critical of Islam Scrapped under Pressure

Taslima Nasreen is a brave feminist who speaks against gender apartheid in Islam. Muslims targeted her and protested against her for her brave writings (ie this column of the burka.) Screen Shot 2013-12-20 at 1.09.26 AMShe has been fighting for women's rights under Islam for years.

Muslim organizations in India and Bangladesh issued several fatwas against Taslima Nasreen, and demanded her execution by hanging for hurting religious sentiments. And where are her phony feminist sisters in the West? Licking the boots of Islamic supremacists.

She is an extremely courageous woman who has struck out at Islamic fanatics and mullahs whose sole passion in life is to come up with the most perverse interpretations of the Quran so that they can live out their dark fantasies born of obscurantism and twisted notions of patriarchy. Ms Nasreen gave up her profession as a qualified physician to take on radical Islamists who had begun to gather strength under the tutelage of Bangladesh Nationalist Party

Everyone is caving. Anyone that speaks against this savagery is a target for demonization, marginlization, elimination. And the world stands in solidarity with these misogynist misanthropes.
