I’m done

Guys. GUYS. I am done. I am finished with the first draft of Opposition. I AM FINISHED

Good Lord, this book was going to kill me. It took 31 days to write, which I know, isn’t a huge amount of time, but I was spending like 12 plus hours a day working on this book. And last books are always the hardest for several reasons. It’s end and that’s always bittersweet and I firmly believe that last book in a series can make an entire series. And it also can break an entire series. So there’s a lot of pressure when it comes to that.

But it is the end of this story. So…

But this is the 9th book I’ve written this year. I think. I might be forgetting one. 9 books. I think I need a coma.

So I’m taking off the rest of December from writing. Well. Kind of. I don’t think I could go several weeks without writing and I probably will start working on Stay With Me next week (I’m EXCITED), but I need the break from the pressure of HAVING TO WRITE. And besides I have so much to do since I’ve spent the last month buried on my computer.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that the 1st draft of Opposition is done, sent off to a beta reader or two and for now it’s a closed book.
