Early this year, modern fables started showing up in my Facebook feed. They were not my favorite kinds of stories. Often the moral was heavy-handed, or the story to get there was ill-conceived, cliché, or simply poorly written.

But rather than get upset about it, I discovered a wonderful thing. Each of these stories was made profoundly better with the simple insertion of a full-size T-Rex.
