Let’s Talk About The Infinity Ring

For the next few weeks, I’m going to turn this blog to another series I’m super excited about: THE INFINITY RING.

This story takes place in a reality where history has gone wrong. Each time history goes off course,  the world comes closer to a cataclysm (which would be, y’know, bad).

In this world, Dak is a history genius with a love of stinky cheese and interesting facts. If it happened in history – everything from the fall of the Great Wall of China to the Amancio Brothers’ discovery of America in 1492 – then Dak knows it. The problem is that everything Dak knows is wrong.

His best friend, Sera, is brilliant in all things science. And when she figures out the secret to time travel, she and Dak are thrown into a journey through time to make things right.

They are joined by Riq, an expert in languages, and a member of a secret organization called The Hystorians, those who have pledged with their lives to set history on the right course again.

But the world is controlled by the evil SQ, who above all else, seek to grow their power. And history is littered with Time Wardens, SQ minions who are trained to watch for anyone who enters their time looking out of place. If they find them, they are ordered to stop the time travelers…at any cost.

Each book comes with a bonus – an insert for a map to a video game where you can go on your own time adventure. If you want to learn more about the series, you can do that here.

So why am I telling you all this? Because I wrote the sixth book of the series, BEHIND ENEMY LINES, and I can’t wait to release it. In the next post, I’ll sum up the books so far.

Jaina Rose Eeh! I've read all the IR books so far, and I can't wait for the next one - especially because you're writing it! :) I love all three of the Scholastic multi-platforms (39 Clues, Spirit Animals, and, of course, Infinity Ring), and as I love history, IR is always a lot of fun for me to read. Still waiting for one set on the Titanic, though . . .

Thanks, Jaina! A Titanic setting would be awesome - what a great time period that was. Maybe down the road...

Alison I've also read all the IR books so far, and I'm really looking forward to reading Behind the Enemy Lines; seeing as I read the excerpt the IR website.
