HTRK Announce 'Poison' 10" Featuring A Mika Vainio Remix + A Music Video By Laure Prouvost + EU Tour Dates
The relationship between HTRK and Mika Vainio can be traced back to Berlin in 2008. HTRK co-founder Sean Stewart became friends with the revered Finnish artist, who was a big influence on all three members of the band.
The remix strips the original to a dubbed-out growl of drum machines and Jonnine's distinctive vocals. It's stormy, minimalist, elegant and brutal—everything you'd expect from a meeting between HTRK and Mika Vainio.
On November 4th, HTRK will release the  on 10" through Ghostly International. HTRK will also release a new album in early 2014. More details to come. The band are also on a short tour of London, Moscow and St. Petersburg. The BFI London event is extra special as it's a tribute to the hugely supportive and influential .

The track also comes with a video directed by 2013 Turner Prize-nominated artist   in which she toys with concepts of memory, forgetfulness and repetition.  Jonnine and Nigel came across the French filmmaker at the ICA's Against Gravity showcase in London in 2011, where Laure was exhibiting and HTRK were playing their first gig as a duo following Sean's passing.
