WATCH: Best Coast - "I Don't Know How"
Best Coast is excited to premiere the first video from their mini-album, Fade Away. The video was shot earlier this month in Sun Valley, CA by Patrick O'Dell who shoots the Epicly Later'd series for VICE.
Says Bethany, "I wanted to make a video that was super fun and LA-inspired without doing anything at the beach like so many of our videos. I've been a big fan of Patrick's for a while and I wanted to get him involved because I knew he would understand my vision. I got to hang with my friends and a bunch of hot skater boys all day! A dream come true."
Fade Away, the first release on Bethany Cosentino's Jewel City label, in partnership with Kobalt Label Services, sets Best Coast off on a new burst of independence and creativity, which includes another album they'll start recording in November for release this Spring. And it reflects the increased confidence that Cosentino and her bandmate, multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno, gained in the three surreal years since their breakthrough album Crazy For You.
