UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA RELEASES BLUE RECORD
STREAM THE ACOUSTIC EP VIA KCRW NOW
After recently announcing their Blue Record, a companion-piece EP to this year's full length II, Unknown Mortal Orchestra is back today sharing a full stream of the EP via KCRW. Due as a limited edition vinyl-only EP, the release's tracks are also available as part of II's deluxe digital release, available now. The EP comes at the end of a big year for the band, which saw them release the acclaimed II, sell out tours across the world with appearances at major summer festivals, make their TV debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and, finally, release Blue Record. Stream the entire EP and check out what the press has been saying about Unknown Mortal Orchestra below.

"shape-shifts frequently through the worlds of brittle indie-pop, Nuggets-era retro psych-rock, vintage soul and something more alien altogether" - NPR
"A modern, beat-heavy take on '60s psych, with plenty of hooks and fuzz to get you hooked and feeling fuzzy." - Paste
"Nielson is, undoubtedly, a time-lagged child of the psychedelic era; a mind-alteration lifer." - The Guardian
"Far out, fascinating, fantastic--just plain F-ing good." - The Fly
""Perpetual outsider Ruban Nielson hones his dark tales of druggy isolation into works of warm, fuzzy beauty" - NME
