upgrading the operating system to mavericks

It comes around every year about this time. Time for upgrading to the new Mac OS. This year it’s to Mavericks, which is free!!!

Aside: I wonder why they put an s at the end this time when in the past the nicknames were singular? Lion, Mountain Lion, Snow Leopard, etc.
